Gentle Lace

Photoframe from an embroidery hoop

 I was asked if I could find an unusual way of framing this little photograph.  The lady didnt want to put it in a normal picture frame, she wanted something different.

I machine stitched the picture to the gingham

then added the pieces of vintage lace with handstitching after inserting it in the embroidery hoop.

Remember my patterns on paper ? Well here is what I have done with them.

I cut them into strips

and machine stitched them onto a piece of A4 card.

Then I folded it in half and punched three holes evenly spaced down the spine.

Here you can see the inside cover.

The next job is to make some pages to go inside.
