A little bit of Mojo crept in...

I have'nt been able to find my mojo for quite some time now
then this week I was having a look at one of my favourite blogs
Kirsty, the owner, has been showing the work she has been doing for a course called
SEWN by MARY ANN MOSS
and I have really enjoyed reading about it.  It involves making patterns on paper
and developing them using machine stitching.
I was inspired enough to take up the challenge and have enrolled myself on the course.
So what you see here are the results of my first assignment.
Have a look at Kirsty's link her work is fun and colourful.

  1. I think my mojo went on holiday with yours! I really can't seem to get inspired lately, despite trying to keep in touch with my favourite inspirational blogs - I can pretty much guarantee a visit to your blog will get me reaching for my sketchbook or sewing machine - I love what you've been up to, and the colours are beautiful.

  2. I agree with Diane, those colours are beautiful Lynn! And I also love the designs you made with the inks. How do the inks differ in use than pens or watercolours for example? I look forward to seeing your new course work make progress :0) xxx

    1. Thank you Mo. The inks seem to be the same as watercolour but you are not using water. I've had them ages so thought I would try them out.

    1. Thank you. The next stage is to build up more painted patterned papers then cut them ready for machine stitching
