Indian Themed Scissor Case

I made this lovely scissor case at a workshop held by Tracy Ankers of Slaidburn, Lancashire, UK.  It was based on Indian textiles and designs.

Back to Stitching

The plan..... A series of small contemporary samplers using a red and white napkin as a base which I will then cut up and add other fabrics and embellishments too.

SIMPLY STITCH

It is week one of my new eight week online course with Karen Ruane Contemporary Embroiderer.
Actually its more of sit around with a cup of tea and a piece of cake  and watch Karen stitch course. I am in great company as some of the girls from the other courses I have done are taking part.  We are all keen to either learn how to handstitch or to improve our techniques. We are not making a finished piece, unless you want to, its more making lots of samples. But if you are anything like me your imagination will get carried away and you will end up making something you had no idea you were going to make.
You can still join if you fancy it, here is the link
